Welcome To Our Farm

Mystery's Timone

WLK Heat Wave X Jaylo RTC
Owned in partnership with Dawn Toraason and Lindsay Kurth

Wow, what a great year for our first crop of Timone offspring. During 2010 Timone's kids won wherever they were shown. At the Ohio, Indiana and Iowa State Fairs as well as the LFA Fall Harvest and LFA Futurity and the North American International these juveniles were winning championships right and left.

And it did not stop there! At the 2011 Celebration Sale "MSF Blue Bayou" was the 2nd high selling female....Thank You Carol Reigh. Then the next day at the Celebration World Futurity "MSF Blue Violet" won the largest class of the day just like Timone did a few years ago. Then to top the day off our Timone "Get of Sire" won this prestigious honor. At the 2011 ILR National Show Timone's son MSF There's An App For That won CH Silky Male and his Daughter MSF Lindsey Vonn won CH Silky Female. Not bad for our first set of crias out of him.

Please contact Dawn, Lindsay or us about breeding your females to this proven sire. Stud fee - $1,200

Peruvian Alcoa X Lumina

Tresor was added to our stud lineup to give some of our llamas a different look. When we purchased him at the Celebrity Sale we fell in love with his spiral locks and the way he carries himself. Tresor has given us some very nice suri llamas with many looking just like him. He has been able to throw fiber that just glows. Our Tuna Catcher daughters have worked well when bred to Tresor producing many showring winners. After successfully using Tresor for several years and retaining several of his daughters we have decided to sell him. Contact us for details.

GNLC Full Tilt
GNLC Santiago X GNLC Lady Guinevere
7-30-2007

Having been in the purebred livestock business our entire lives we are always looking for that next piece of the puzzle that will keep moving our breeding program forward. We think that Full Tilt is the perfict fit for what we are trying to accomplish. A stud male that combines style, conformation and pedigree. We were stalled across the isle from this guy when Steve and Sue Rolfing originally sold him at the 2008 Celebrity Sale and just could not take our eyes off of him. We did not buy him them.......big mistake. Full Tilt went on to win the 2008 LFA Futurity for the McDougalls and Wilkins. At the 2009 Celebration World Futurity in Oklahoma City he won again and looked even better. At the 2011 ILR National Show he brought home CH Medium/Heavy Male for us. The three most prestigious shows in the country....Three Championships!!!!! We would like to thank John and Debra McDougall for allowing us to purchase Full Tilt. We are offering only a few outside breedings a year - $1,500.

Wheatfield's Bouncer
SSRMT Baldacci x GVL White Tinsel
11-16-2009
.
Bouncer came to our farm when we purchased the breeding herd of Wheatfield Llamas, Rex and Dalene Reinecker of Kansas. Bouncer was the 2011 ILR National Champion Suri Male. Bouncer gives us THREE 2011 ILR National Champion Males residing in our stud barn. "Baldacci" was the male that no one could get around when Rex was parading him around the ring at all the major shows. White Tinsel is a daughter of the all time record selling male "Newevo". We have always been partial to grey paint males - Okosan, Tuna Catcher, Timone and now Bouncer. Once you see Bouncer you will be impressed by his bone, how he stands out on all four corners, his overall substance and fiber with a cool slick hand. We can't wait until his first crias arrive. Stud fee - $1,000

White Heat's Trilogy
White Heat x PVCL Consuela
6-27-2001

We aquired this legend with the purchase of the Wheatfield herd in 2011. This guy has done it all! World Futurity Champion, LFA Champion and National Champion. Only one other male has accomplished that and he too is in our stud barn....GNLC Full Tilt. Trilogy has proven himself as a sire of national and futurity champions as well. We are looking forward to Trilogy putting his legendary stamp at Mark Smith Farms. Truely a sign of a great stud is when they can produce year after year. We used to cringe when we saw Rex Reinecker walk into the showring with one of Triogy's sons or daughters because we knew they would be difficult to get around. Stud fee - $1,000
